Vice-President, Player Health & Performance
Alex McKechnie is the Vice-President of Player Health and Performance for the Toronto Raptors. A graduate of Leeds School of Physiotherapy, the Glasgow-born McKechnie started his career as head physiotherapist for Simon Fraser University in 1974. Since then, he has consulted for the Vancouver Canucks; worked with the Vancouver Whitecaps, the Canadian Men’s National Soccer Team, and the LA Lakers, where he won five NBA Championships. Alex joined the Raptors in 2011, as the Director of Sport Science, and won his sixth Larry O’B in 2019. He looks forward to winning more.
