Dr. Alex Auerbach is the Raptors’ Senior Director of Wellness and Development. Alex originally wanted to be a pro football coach, but ultimately turned to psychology as he got more interested in the science of performance. He has served as Director of Clinical and Sport Psychology for the University of Arizona and has worked for NCAA Division-1 schools in the PAC-12, ACC, Big 12, and Conference USA. Life gets pretty hectic working for the Raptors, so Dr. Alex decompresses by prioritizing time with his young family, and going for walks in Toronto’s many natural green spaces.
